The Parnham Hanging Lantern by Pure White Lines draws inspiration from the architectural details of Parnham Park, the Grade I-listed Dorset country house designed by John Nash. Created in collaboration with A Modern Grand Tour and renowned collector James Perkins, the lantern translates details from the historic building into a distinctive decorative light.
Its geometric solid brass framework is paired with clear glass panels and finished in characterful verdigris bronze. A carefully detailed upper finial references the roof designed by Nash during the early 19th century, giving the lantern a strong connection to its architectural source.
Four candle-style lamp holders sit within the clear glass enclosure, allowing light to spread freely while highlighting the lantern’s sculptural construction. Its generous proportions make it particularly suited to entrance halls, stairwells, dining rooms and other spaces requiring a statement period lantern.
The standard fitting is IP20 rated, although bathroom and covered-porch versions can be produced upon request.
