Refund policy
Retail Customers
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@designerlightingstore.co.uk, providing your name and order number.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the original and undamaged packaging, securely packaged, unused, undamaged and in 'as new' condition. It is at the discretion of House of Seven Limited T/A Designer Lighting Store to refuse a refund if the light(s) is returned damaged or not as sold.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return order number, which must be dispalyed on the return label when you return them. Please note, returned goods which do not display a return order number will not be accepted. We will also send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please DO NOT write on the original product box, please print and tape the label to the box.
If you are returning the item(s) due to a change of mind, you then need to ship the goods back to us, at your expense, to arrive within 28 days of your original receipt of the goods. We strongly recommend sending your order back to us using a tracked and insured (for their full value) delivery service for your own peace of mind. In the event a package is lost or damaged in transit we will be unable to refund you for the the cost of your light(s). If you are returning a faulty item, we will arrange collection and pay the return postage fees.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 24 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
You cannot cancel or return non-standard, made-to-order or special order products unless they are damaged or faulty.

Trade Customers
As a B2B customer, by placing an order you are offering to purchase the goods on the terms of this Agreement. Once an order is accepted it is final and binding and you shall have no right to cancel or return the Goods unless there is a fault or defect which is covered by a warranty. For clarity, the Company does not provide a Change of Mind policy for Trade or Commercial Customers for standard or bespoke products.
If the Goods are faulty or defective they must be returned to us are in the original undamaged packaging and securely packaged. It is at the discretion of House of Seven Limited T/A Designer Lighting Store to refuse a refund if the light is returned damaged or not as sold. Please DO NOT write on the original product box, please print and tape the label to the box.
Please contact us to discuss the best method to arrange return of the Goods. If you arrange the return the light yourself we STRONGLY ADVISE that you ensure the light(s) is insured for its/their full value - in the event a package is lost or damaged in transit we will be unable to refund you for the the cost of your light.
