Southall &Soul, a vibrant and trendy community hub in the heart of London, was transformed it into a modern, stylish, and welcoming destination that draws inspiration from the rich cultural diversity of the area. Known for its fusion of contemporary dining, music, and entertainment, Southall &Soul's refurbishment was designed to enhance both the interior and exterior of the venue, combining sleek, modern design elements with subtle nods to the cultural influences of South Asia.

The new look featured bold, eye-catching colors, contemporary art, and clean lines, creating a space that felt both chic and relaxed. The interiors were revamped to include spacious seating areas, better lighting, and a more open, airy layout, allowing for a comfortable, inviting environment.

The lighting played a pivotal role, helping to elevate the venue's ambiance and creating an immersive atmosphere for guests. It was carefully considered how lighting could complement the modern aesthetic while reflecting the vibrant cultural influences of Southall.

In the interior spaces, the lighting was reimagined to create an intimate and dynamic setting, perfectly suited to the venue's lively dining and entertainment experience. Soft, warm tones were used throughout the restaurant and lounge areas, with strategically placed pendant lights and bespoke fixtures that cast gentle pools of light over dining tables and feature areas. 

Overall, the lighting throughout Southall &Soul played a critical role in enhancing the overall guest experience. It seamlessly blended contemporary design with cultural richness, contributing to the venue's vibrant, immersive atmosphere and ensuring that the space was both visually stunning and welcoming to all who entered.

Designer Lighting Store worked with Jasmine Fisher on this project to source and supply over 120 light fittings, including pendants, table lamps and wall lights for the bedrooms, Communal areas and workshop/wellness rooms.
